Hearing Tests & Assessments

Pure-Tone Audiometry
This is the “golden standard” test. It determines the quietest sounds you can hear at different pitches to find your hearing threshold.
Speech Audiometry
This measures how well you can hear and understand spoken words, both in quiet and noisy settings. It tells us how much “clarity” your brain is receiving.
Tympanometry
A quick, painless test to see how well your middle ear and eardrum are functioning. It helps identify issues like middle ear fluid behind the ear or a perforated eardrum.
Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE)
A test used to check the health of the hair cells in the inner ear (cochlea). It is often used for pediatric screenings and detailed diagnostic reports.
